Join us for a party to celebrate the opening of the Weisman's 2024 spring exhibition, The Other Four.

Thursday, February 8, 7 - 10 P.M.

Get an early look at the show, enjoy small bites by Kafe 421, swing by the photo booth, and catch DJ McShellen spinning tunes all evening! A cash bar is also included.

Exploring the richness of the human experience, the exhibition engages audiences primarily through nonvisual – the other four – senses. These works center our attention on these four, often upstaged, senses through disparate means, including technology, performance, interaction, and experimental practice. Featured works open up a vast realm of experiences that are usually overshadowed by our visual programming—even if only for the moments we are in the exhibition.

Curated by Twin Cities-based artist and independent curator John Schuerman, The Other Four captures the spirit of 21 regionally-based avant-garde artists who experiment with and produce sensory art which forefronts the senses of smell, taste, touch, and sound through a varied display of 16 multimedia works.

The Other Four is on view to the public February 9 – May 19, 2024.

Ticket proceeds keep the Weisman’s exhibitions and programs going strong. We appreciate your support!

Online sales close Thursday, February 8 - 3 p.m.
