The Way of the Healer Presented by Janet Quinn, PhD

May 22, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
$125, space is limited

Join Janet Quinn in sacred circle for a deep dive into the concept, practice, and experience of healing for "the Most Beautiful Way of the Healer," a way of living and moving in our work and in our lives that connects us with the truth, goodness and beauty that we are and that nursing is. Through lecture, discussion of state-of-the-science placebo/healing relationship research, guided meditation and imagery, reflection, shared dialogue, and maybe even some singing/chanting, participants may connect more deeply with the archetypal healer within and go forward to bring their own unique potential for facilitating healing into the service of a world in desperate need of it.

Integrative Nursing Research convened by Robin Austin, DNP and Laura Kirk, PhD, RN
May 22, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

In this half-day pre-conference workshop, Laura Kirk and Robin Austin will guide you to learn more about Integrative Nursing Research. You will learn to describe the current state-of-the-science related to integrative nursing; highlight research methodologies related to integrative nursing; examine lessons learned from researchers conducting integrative nursing research; and discuss key strategies and a vision for integrative nursing research.
